One Contractor from Site Bench to Slab Preparation
Imperial was engaged to coordinate the excavation and groundworks package around Futureview’s construction sequence. Delivering the bulk cut, detailed foundations, pool excavation, deep pier drilling and backfill under one scope reduced contractor handovers and gave the builder a clearer path through the foundation stage.
The site was progressively benched and trimmed to suit the slab-on-ground design. Our team then completed more than 70 structural piers, excavated the pool and strip footings, managed rock where required and prepared the platform for following trades.

Sequenced Around the Foundation Program
The excavation, pier and backfill stages were coordinated around Futureview’s program and site instructions. The 5T excavator completed the primary excavation and auger work, while the compact 1.7T machine supported detailed work where manoeuvrability mattered. Spoil and rock were managed progressively so working areas remained practical for the next stage.

A Clean, Slab-Ready Foundation Platform
After the structural excavation was completed, the site was backfilled and trimmed in preparation for the new slab. The completed package left Futureview with a coordinated foundation platform ready for the following construction trades.
